Going to be a tough one for the Fins to continue their momentum from the win against the Titans if they don't get their head out of their ass before a tough one in Atlanta

The Fins defense looked impressive vs the Titans. They carried the team to victory.

The Fins' offense will need to score more points to give the team a chance to win vs the Falcons. I would like to see the Fins establish the running game. I think the passing game would then improve.

I agree on establishing the running game. The problem with this aspect of the offense for the Fins, to me, seems like they are set on giving all carries to Ajayi until he makes a mistakes or its not working for a reason or another and then just abandon it - then make excuses as to why its not working. Yes, the OL is an issue but not to be used as an excuse.

The Fins MUST get their other RBs involved, I say it pre-game every week - don't wait for Ajayi to go down with an injury or become ineffective at the expense of the team to get the others involved.

We are playing against a high-powered offense this coming week - the level of ineptitude the Fins have been playing with and coaching with just won't get the job done. We have to get the TEs involved in the passing game.

Its unfortunate if Parker is down with an injury for any significant amount of time but it will at least force Cutler to find someone other than him to throw to which is necessary.

Getting back to .500 ASAP as the Fins did is a great time to regroup and address some of their issues to get fixed for the coming weeks.

I agree, Williams and Drake are both good backs. Williams is a well rounded RB. Drake has breakaway speed. Ajayi is an elite talent. The Fins need to get creative to get Williams & Drake more involved. It could be in the short passing game or with more carries in the run game. Some of the teams are sending guys in motion to keep defenses guessing. Grant is a player that teams would have to account for. The Fins could send him in motion and hand it to him sometimes.

RE the TEs: Thomas makes some good plays but doesn't seem to get separation when he's covered. It seems it will depend on good play calling or he will have little impact for the team. M Gray has potential but he needs to become more reliable with his catches to win the confidence of the QB & coaches. Fasano has been a non factor in the passing game.

My opinion....throw a few deep to start the game. Loosen things up and you'll see a better running game and short passing game after. Right now the tape is showing stack the box and cover things tight short. It's been tough sledding for the offense because of this. Either way the oline has to pick it up or they're hooped. This is why I thought that they'd draft a few more olinemen or sign some more as it's shit.

Unless we start to see a big improvement on the Oline this year I think that if there is an elite center or OG available in the draft early that could be the best pick. Ajayi has been getting hit in the backfield. Last year he had more running room. Also, having a FB on the roster could be good. It's not like the Fins are getting a lot out of the TE position. They could use a better blocker to open up holes in the running game.

The good news so far this year is the defense. However against a team with a top level offense like the Falcons the Fins' offense will have to produce for the team to have a chance.

My keys to this game:
As per usual, establish and stay committed to the run. This may not be a popular suggestion, but I don't care:It needs to be a running back by committee approach for the fins. I am sick and tired of seeing Ajayi used and abused by our coaches with our shaky offensive line/blocking and them getting away from the running game and claiming we don't have much ether as an excuse. Get the other RBs involved early and often to keep Ajayi fresh.

Get the TEs involved. With Cutlers favorite target(Parker) down, we will see more of Carroo and Grant , rightly so -- But we need to get more targets to Thomas and our other capable TEs

We need to be efficient on offense in this game to keep our defense off the field for as long as possible against this potent offense that can embarrass our defense within 2 drives.

Lets hope for the best

Fins win toss and defer to second half - pressure on the defense to stop that potent offense. Fins should've looked to get offense going

Aided by some penalties and bad defense at times, Fins give up a long FG for the first 3 points of game.

Offense to respond now

I like the fact that we are calling quick passing plays to get the ball out of Jay's hands quicker and not put so much pressure on the OL - but our WRs, RBs, and TEs need to be awake and look for the ball in a timely manner.

No points on our first drive but at least some positive - but this should be the last moral victory we settle for in this game.

And then a Matty Ice flame-thrower.

We need to score and keep this game close or it will be over soon. Fins need to force the Falcons to run because if they pass, they will r*pe our defense

Another penalty due to stupidity by this soft ass team cost us yards and out of FG range - our idiot HC makes the unwise decision to go for it rather than just punt it away - tops it off with a horrible call that goes nowhere.

Outstanding field position for a team that doesn't need any more handouts
