Hopefully Jay will be back by now or we find a QB that gives us a chance from the start after another Matt Moore empty start vs NE
Good news but I don't think that Moore was ever an experiment he was simply the only qb left! And no Daughty is not better that's just silly or he'd already be on the roster. I just hope Tanny is better next year.Jay Cutler to return as starting qb vs one of his former teams .
Time to bury the constantly failed Matt Moore experiment . This is a winnable game for the fins , and Gase knows Jay is the best option

Doughty is a project the Dolphins really need to invest more effort into
Doughty was very productive in college but got outplayed in preseason by Fales. I think Doughty has potential but he has yet to prove himself.
Extremly raw when it comes to running an NFL offense. A lot of his success was because he had the arm strength to the bombs he was asked to throw - this is why I said we need to invest more in him as far as time and effort to develop.
Yes agreed not going anywhere until the oline is improved.I actually thought that Fales not only outplayed Doughty in Preseason but also outplayed Moore. Next preseason Fales should get a real chance in training camp and preseason to win the spot. Fales has been a journeyman in his career but so was Case Keenum and look how that is working out. Doughty also should get a good look in camp. I think we know what we will get from Moore and it's clear that he is not a potential starter.
The Fins should work towards having the most talented and best coached Oline in the NFL. That is how the offense can start to turn things around. The Fins have other positional needs on offense but if the Oline improves the other positional groups will improve. I think I would add a big nasty, tough, smart OG from this draft. The Fins also need depth at OT and Center. That said, coaching will be the key. I have seen for example, RBs not picking up blitzers and Olinemen missing assignments. That comes back to coaching. Foerster was a disaster and had to go. Him leaving could be the best thing for the team in the long run. The Fins need to find a coach like Dante Scarnecchia. A guy like him could bring great coaching and stability for years to the Oline group. That is what the team needs as much as anything.
