Messi, a set-piece specialists

I was just reading this: 4 Best Set-Piece Specialists in the World Right Now | Bleacher Report , and was quite surprised to see Messi among Pirlo, Del Piero and Van Persie as a set-piece specialist. What kind of set pieces are we talking about, penalty kicks?

They also left out Ronaldo, who is pretty slick with his free kicks, which is essentially what you're asking.

I won't argue with Pirlo or del Piero, and Ronaldo is probably #1 overall but as usual he's taken for granted. And similar to Ronaldo is Hulk - you just don't want to get in the way of either guy's blasts, you can really get hurt.

Other than that I'd also suggest Kolarov on City and Leighton Baines on Everton, both of whom can get some impossible bends on their kicks.

Well yeah, Ronaldo is much better with free kicks. And i agree with Hulk too. Messi shouldn't be in that top, but since he won 4 Ballon d'Ors we have to deal with him everywhere...
