Welp, I do have my eye on someone. And if he gets taken by the 9th pick I guess I have some tough decisions to make (within 120 seconds). I'm not a QB-first kind of guy typically. Nor a TE-first guy either. Demaryius might be a nice alternative if my guy isn't there.

If your guy is Jamaal Charles I would go ahead and prepare for some alternatives in the 9 spot.

Okay guys I have completed my rankings and my excel sheet for projected points based on last year's points against. If any of you would like to get a copy of it, you can send me your email address and I will email you a copy of it. It is an excel file and it is 6MB. Most of you won't care, but I know that Joe kind of sounded like he was interested in seeing how it worked. If you are, just let me know.

Joe Kiper's Draft Projections:

1. Barilko - Shady
2. Ram Tough - Charles
3. Treff - Ball
4. TKO - AP
5. Duff/White - Forte
6. Bandit - Lynch
7. Lefty - Lacy
8. Fuzzy - Megatron
9. Joe - ?
10. Sam
11. Monkey
12. Tlance

Yep, still 12th.

sigh......

I have a feeling all of the players I am hoping will fall are going to end up getting taken.

I am currently projecting Peyton and Graham as my first 2 picks with Gronk and Stafford as my next two. It will be the no WR, no RB strategy.

Think it could work?

According to one guy on the board (not Foot either) you should probably go TE - TE so you can lock up the best players at that position. .....

I'd like to see it - although after making my art project I'm dubious about reliability.

I'd be happy to send it over Wil. But as you will see from my rankings, I don't base a whole lot on it, just kind of use it as a tiebreaker in some cases.

Well, I'm not gonna stop ya as I'm going to try the Prater-Houshkamama draft stratagy and lock up the 2 best kickers.

Seriously though, wish it could have been a week later this year..................my guys have question marks and not so sure I can pull the trigger at 10. This may actually be quite the vanilla draft for me and that never happens!

my last vanilla draft? A tie for league best record with Will and Lefty, and that's after losing Cobb and Julio early on..nothing wrong with vanilla. Vanilla gets a bad rap

Moving update:

Finally agreed on a moving date, the 22nd, but not sure when we'll have time to get the cable guy out to set us up. Might not be for a week or so until I can take a half day to wait for the guy. Still need ya Wil. And thanks again.

This one's for Wil:

Ran a few mocks to see if the guy I want will still be there at 9. (He was.) But it didn't mean much since the mock "computer generated" picks certainly aren't the MBBRL. Cause Montee Ball was still there at 9. I ignored that he was there since I knew he wouldn't be come Sunday, and guess what, he was still there when I picked again at 2.4. Ignored him again. He finally got taken at the end of the 2nd round.

There were still some decent RB available in the 5th round too. That won't happen Sunday. Bloody Sunday.

It's always disconcerting when you have to scroll down the page to move somebody up the pre-draft rankings. I hate it, I'm always thinking, "Is there something I'm missing about this guy?" I hate it.

So I find it very interesting some of the differences in ESPN and fantasy pros rankings:

ESPN Doug Martin is #11 Fantasy Pros #27
ESPN Montee Ball is #25 Fantasy Pros #10
ESPN Reggie Bush is #29 Fantasy Pros #40
ESPN Ben Tate is #32 Fantasy Pros #64
ESPN Rashad Jennings is #43 Fantasy Pros #55
ESPN Andre Ellington is #46 Fantasy Pros #28
ESPN Toby Gerhart is #52 Fantasy Pros #30
ESPN Bishop Sankey is #72 Fantasy Pros #49

Almost everybody else in the top 60 is within 10 spots of each other in the rankings. The running backs are just so all over the place no matter what you read this year.
