JK, I'm more of an NFL than college guy, but this past season has me leaning toward getting back into the college scene, since it doesn't seem nearly as rigged as the pro games.

Tech's basketball thread was inactive - no one's posted there for awhile.

Love seeing the Big12 dominate basketball again though - TCU, OK St, and KS St are the "bad" teams. Only TCU could truly be considered bad, imo. The rest are gonna be tough to beat, NIT or March Madness, either tourney.

Texas Tech not making the tourney is equivalent to OU being a 5 seed.
Neither statement is realistic, but thanks for taking my comment out of context.
Guy that commented before me thought it was cute to say Tech's gonna be in the NIT.
I understand, I mean, 1 program is on the rise, while the other is graduating all of their starters and will have more question marks than anything before next season.
I'd be sour about it as well.

Buddy's gonna get his 30pts, odds are the other guards will combine for another 30. Shut down the big men, and OU is beatable. If Spangler/Lattin/Buford and company can't combine for 20pts/game down low, I just don't see a deep tourney run for this squad. That's just my personal thoughts, anything can happen.

Let's all agree OU will be a top 3 seed in their region, probably a #2, maybe still have a legit shot at a #1 if they don't falter and others do.
Let's also agree TT is in, and will fall in the 7-10 range, probably a #9.

Tubby has them playing good. With the strength of the Big 12 Tech should get in as a 8 or 9 seed.
OU is very beatable if they have a bad shooting night by a couple of players. Buddy normally gets his and doesn't have many bad shooting games. I agree with you that Spangler and Lattin contributing makes OU a really tough out.

Guys played hard this season. 3rd place finish in the conference and the conference tourney. Now on to the big dance, hope they can make some noise. Anything short of Elite Eight will be disappointing for these guys.

personally, it doesn't bother em that OU lost to WVU. They were pretty much assured of a 2 seed and the bracket they are in gives them a great chance to get to the FF.

It's going to be an interesting tourney, no doubt.
