Memphis Grizzlies - Utah Jazz Game Thread.

The Grizzlies took the lead in the 3rd quarter.

The Grizzlies would have been trailing if @MHSL82 was at the game. Because @MHSL82 has a great record at games.

(He never answered my question as to what his record is at games, or at least last season's record.)

Looks like Memphis went to the foul line a lot more.

The Jazz looked like they got to the line an appropriate amount. But Memphis looked like they got even more.

I don't know if it's because the Jazz couldn't guard them, or if Memphis has good players at drawing fouls.

Memphis is 2nd in the league in percentage of points from FTs.

So they probably just exploited their strength very well.

I had Memphis in the hunt for the playoffs. If Conley and Gasol are healthy, they're good. Plus I like their draft pick, Jaren Jackson Jr.

Last year, they were injured, so that's what broke their 7 year playoffs streak.

I didn’t know Donovan Mitchell wasn’t playing tonight. I think we would’ve won in that case.

I won’t change that with the prediction because that’s how life goes. I didn’t do the research. But I would’ve gone with Memphis despite our supposed homecourt advantage if I had known.

I didn't know he wasn't playing either.

Also, Minnesota was leading for a few mins in the 4th. But they're trailing again.

If Minnesota wins, it really would make an All-Road day.

Back to Memphis. Again, just going by their track record this decade, they're pretty good, so I figure they'll win some games.

The Jazz-Grizzlies series might be won by the road team in all 4 games. November 12th is the 3rd matchup. March 8 is the last one.
