Good just to see Mauti back on the field so soon. I really hope someone has that kids number in a bullseye from IU that put that completely cheap shot on him last year. I'd love to see someone snap his leg in 5 pieces.

I disagree, hurting anyone on purpose is never the answer. I hope the kid from IU catches explosive diarrhea on the field then retires after embarrassment.

I normally wouldn't be in favor, but that hit was so late and so intentional to injure that he deserves whatever happens to him. Would love to see him switched to defense, square up on Zwinak and have the same results as this lucky Gopher who tried to take on MRob in 2005. I heard the pads pop on this on the other side of field in row 82, LOL

Still wouldn't wish this hit or any kind of injury on anyone.

As he lay on the field after a violent collision, Brandon Owens initially thought he wasn't hurt too badly. He couldn't move his right arm, and his legs were a little tingly. Just a bad stinger, he thought.

"After about 10 minutes I still couldn't move my arm," Owens said. "I knew something was wrong."

That collision with Penn State quarterback Michael Robinson on Oct. 1, 2005, dramatically changed Owens' life. An emerging star at strong safety for the Gophers, Owens suffered nerve damage in his neck, ending his career. Owens has endured two major surgeries, including one this June, and still cannot use his right arm for daily functions.

Owens said the ordeal left him depressed for months, and he declined numerous interview requests after his injury.

Looks like Derek Moye might become the Steelers 4th WR which looks promising in him A) making the team B) catching passes this season.

McGloin made the raiders team. I hope he does well once Pryor fails.

Really happy for these guys. Mike has couple from multiple injuries, people often thought Matt couldn't make it at the next level.

I had always been a huge McGloin critic and before last year never cared for him. However, I am very happy for the kid, he worked his ass off and took full advantage of BOB's coaching., had one hell of a season for us and now made an NFL roster. Who'd have thought that this time last year??
