Have not been that active in the trade market lately but just pulled the trigger on a trade. TKO gets my big 1B, Goldschmidt and I get Joey Bats and the underperforming Votto. I am able to dump Butler so I think that I will net some power and OBP which will help in the long run. Nice trade TKO.

I honestly didn't think you'd accept that one Fuzz! Good deal! If Votto rounds back into form, then maybe my Reds make the playoffs... win-win. I like gold.

With the injury to Edwin, I (maybe unfairly) got a bad feeling for Joey Bats' potential July regression. I need a power 1B and now I got him... a free roster spot... hmmm, what shall I do ...???

Sorry man.

By the way, if anybody has an extra 3B and wants to deal for Aaron Hill, I am listening.

A League Weekly Review-

Standings

1. Tlance: 84-41-15
2. Jim: 79-53-8
3. Fuzzy: 74-60-6
4. Treff: 72-60-8
5. Dude: 69-58-13
6. Chef: 65-65-10
7. Ram: 61-68-11
7. TKO: 63-70-7
9. Sam: 56-70-14
10. Paul: 59-74-7
11. Kevin: 53-81-6
12. Dub: 47-82-11

Weekly Recap:

Tlance 8, Sam 2- This was a tough one for Sam. Most of the categories were close, but the Salamis did just enough to pull away on Sunday. Tlance rebounds from last week's destruction and Sam falls further out of the playoff race. He is now 7 games back from 6th place Chef.

Kevin 7, Big D 3- Big D was the victim of Kevin's awesome hitting week. D has a great pitching week led by Timmay, but Kevin's 28 more innings were too much to overcome in both Ks and wins. Big D is still sitting comfortably in 5th and Kevin will look to get back in the hunt with more impressive weeks like this one.

Fuzzy 6.5, Treff 3.5- Hitting was very close, but the Fuzzies dominated the pitching cats. Fuzz was able to overtake Treff in the standings with this result, but both teams are still looking very good. Fuzzy is now in third and Treff is 4th.

Jim 6, Dub 4- A solid hitting week along with huge K totals from Burnett and Miley allowed Dub to keep things close, but Jim's squad was too much in the end. Jim is staring to build a nice cushion between him and the third place team. Keep in mind, the second place team gets a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

Paul 5.5, Ram 4.5- Paul had an awesome pitching week and he got just enough from his hitters to get the win. While the victory is nice, he is going to need to start getting some more lopsided results to climb back into the hunt. Ram, on the other hand, remains in a tie for 7th with TKO as they each dropped a game in the standings to Chef.

Chef 5.5, TKO 4.5- This game was extremely close, but a late rally from TKO narrowed the result a little. Chef's bats did just enough to hold on. This matchup was a lost opportunity for TKO to gain ground on the final playoff spot. He will look to use newly acquired Paul Goldschmidt to beat down first place Tlance this week.

Prospect League recap coming soon!

Prospect League Weekly Review

Standings-

1. Micro: 79-55-6
2. JD: 77-58-5
3. Driaz: 72-55-13
4. Milk: 71-61-8
5. Smitty: 70-64-6
6. Molsan: 64-60-18
7. OBX: 63-66-11
8. Redseat: 61-70-9
8. Brock: 61-70-9
10. Trudem: 58-73-9
11. AZ Sting: 58-76-6
12. Foot: 50-76-14

Weekly Recap:

Molsan 8, Milk 2- This was a new low for Milk's hitters and Molsan had a fantastic pitching week. Milk is still clinging to 4th place, but his time in first now looks like a distant memory. Molsan uses the big result to claim 6th place and an inside track to the playoffs.

JD 7, Foot 3- JD's hitting continues to be awesome. Foot had very strong pitching week, but it was not enough. JD moves up to 2nd place as Foot falls all the way to last.

Micro 7, OBX 3- Both teams had great pitching weeks, but the difference was OBX's slumping hitters. Micro takes hold of first all by himself with the impressive result and OBX falls to 7th.

Smitty 6.5, Driaz 3.5- Both sides again had tremendous pitching weeks, but Smitty's hitters were better. Driaz falls all the way to third place as Smitty catches up to the pack, but remains in 5th.

AZ Sting 6, Redseat 4- This game was very disappointing. Redseat missed his innings minimum as he left 2 inactives in his lineup for the 3rd straight week. Redseat has gone from a playoff shoe-in to a long shot with a few weeks of inactivity.

Brock 6, Trudem 4- Brock's hitters were smoking hot this week, and 2 saves from Rosenthal were enough to give him the edge over Trudem in a hard fought battle. Both sides deserved better this week. Brock rises to a tie for 8th. Both teams are still within striking distance if they can get hot.

Good luck to all in week 15!

Thanks T! No more Utley or Votto weighing me down. Speaking of Utley, him starting over Altuve in the AS game is a loud joke!

The good part about having and keeping Jason Hammel after his trade; he is going to a better ballclub, and to a more pitcher friendly park. The bad; though Samardjduhtysr has already started, and though a few days have passed, HE IS STILL NOT LISTED AS PITCHING OR WHEN THIS WEEK.

BAH!!!!!!!

Hey DUB, I think you should make some roster moves. Players injured in your lineup, players DFA'd on your bench, one IR guy playing, the other on his way back... ????
