I don't care either way myself. Last year, throwing it together at the last minute I screwed up on the roster totals and some people liked it more.

In a totally unrelated note, offer sent!

Well, in another league, but it does involve outfielders so it's not totally unrelated...

I do certainly agree that Josh Bell would be my first baseman of the future, and that is a big thing for a team with NO real first baseman... But at the same time, I am not really panicking about not having a first baseman... don't really know if I want to give up The Astronomer and a top pick...

@Chef99

Whats your thoughts about Michael fulmer?? Got an interesting trade from Diamond kings... really on the fence about it...

I like Fulmer in our dynasty, and you certainly could use him. Gonna be some regression/adjustments to expect, but he made his impact professionaly, imo. Dunno what the deal is, but he would be a nice addition to building your staff. I would think twice about doing deGrom or Betances in a deal, tho; if that's the case, better improve your draft position. If he wants Frazier, Happ, Gallo, or your beloved Brinson, I'd be all over it.

it is for degrom.. But he is also giving me the first pick of the draft... But what makes me very hesitant is that this seems like a piss poor weak prospect pool... and I already have the 6th pick...

Got offered Strasburg and the 1st for Thor and declined; it was really a not-bad offer when you consider everything, but Thor is my ace. If he goes down, so be it, I'll deal with it.

In your case, deGrom is your ace. He's a risk like all Mets pitchers these days, but for what it's worth, the word is he's good to go.

Imo, the only other SP you have worth a shit is Hendricks, and if I could deal him high, I'd do it in a minute. Don't deal Betances unless you get a haul.

Taking a good look at your team now, and...exactly how long in the future are you planning for?

Fulmer and the 1st pick for deGrom and?

Btw, @MilkSpiller22 , I should note: in our dynasty points, I have subscribed to Tlance's theory of developing a dominating pitching staff.

3rd rounder... so its not the other piece of the deal that makes me question anything...

If I liked this pool of potential #1 picks I would have probably made the deal already... But I don't think the minor league class is good, and the potential major leaguer I can get is clearly not anything special either...

DK is no fool. My advice is to stick with deGrom, unless you feel guys like the Shark, Pomeranz, Bundy, Musgrove and the rest are worth it. I'm sure I omitted a few choices here but you get the gist.

Shit, you've got the 6th pick as it is. Not gonna list the offensive retreads you can get (Moooooooose!), but if that's me, and he's there?

So, what's the difference between "whatever floats your boat" and "whatever floats your goat"?

Besides the boat and the goat, I mean...is this a milennial thing?

Hee hee, I am in such intense back and forth negotiations with Philabuster right now, I will be either a goat or a witch. This is why I love being in a league with him so much; he likes to take chances, is always willing to deal, is always fair, and is never shy about giving you his opinion. For those of you who have never played with him in this league, you've missed out.

Now...where's my other fave negotiating opponent been? @TKOSpikes , all is good? Not like you to be so inconspicuous.

Been a busy month for me. Daughter has been sick for almost three weeks. Fever and vomiting for a week, a couple days break and right into a head cold.

Anywhooo.... DK has a nice offer up. I'm debating that.

I'll take a peek.
