I honestly think this is a mistake:

1. He was hired under a horrendous situation.
2. He got absolutely murdered in recruiting because of it.
3. He held that team together through it all and while they weren't winning they weren't getting blown out and they weren't quitting.
4. The issues that Ole Miss dealt with is easily a five-year process you have to work through.

I don't doubt for a second he was a "place holder" hire but I feel like he did more than that and deserved a few more years.
