Are you talking about our ex-center that got blown up nearly every play?
We are suppose to have this loaded Oline there is no reason to be 0-10 on 3rd down and 0-4 2 yards or under. Oline needs to play with that nastiness on short yardage situations. I was very disappointed in those plays and also on Kelly for not calling a play when the RB is coming down hill.
I don't disagree, but Virginia finished 18th in the country last year in rushing defense. And they have 3/4 of their D-line starters back this year. Ucla only got 150 yards against them on the ground last week compared to our 250. I'm still disappointed in our third down performance, but this was a good defense we were playing. Georgia Tech finished 62nd in the country in rushing defense last year and lost 2/4 of their D-line starters. so while everyone seems to be picking GT to win, I think if we keep the turnovers down, we will be OK.
I agree Notre Dame can beat Georgia Tech but I feel less sure about it than I did and it doesn't have much to do with Zaire going down. The defense was terrible against Virginia for most of 3 QT's and looked great in the 1st QT that is concerning to me because I do believe Georgia Tech's offense is better than Virginia's.
it might be better but they don't have a WR like UV had. if we win the battle at the line against GT we should be ok.I agree Notre Dame can beat Georgia Tech but I feel less sure about it than I did and it doesn't have much to do with Zaire going down.
