Guess it was just a matter of time. It's a key signing...having a dependable backup QB is, as we've seen, vital.
I think we've quietly had a pretty decent off-season.

Glad he is back... will like to see the numbers.
Think Packers have had good off season as well...
IMO
- Shields and Peppers overpaid
- Neal, Quarless, Starks, Raji, Kuhn all very team friendly deals
Will be interested to see $ for this deal.
Now if Packers can lock up Nelson long term on friendly deal I will be very happy.
I'm more interested in the years on Flynn's contract. I think they days of Flynn competing somewhere for a starting job are done, so would he be more inclined to look for a 2-3 year deal, as opposed to a 1 year deal again? Or does TT want him for more than 1 year? I think if it's a one-year deal, we could see a QB drafted. Multi-year deal, I think no QB drafted, with Tolzien holding the #3 job (if we keep 3 QB's.)
I would bet that either Nelson or Cobb gets re-upped before the season starts.
