Maryland week

It is a big game for both programs. As you probably seen, I have Iowa losing this one. The only other pass offense that Iowa has faced that might be as good as Maryland's is Iowa State. Maryland has a far better defense than Iowa State's (which isn't saying much). So, even if Iowa is far better than they were vs Iowa State, Maryland is a better team.

I do think it will be close, for Iowa's offense is starting to do good. QBs and receivers are starting to click. The kicking game is on a roll. But I just think Maryland lines up against Iowa better than Iowa lines up against Maryland.

I have a hard time believing we don't have more talent than Maryland and I will be extremely disappointed not coming home with a W.

The most significant issue/problem that I see is in Iowa's running game. Iowa hasn't produced a 100-yard rusher yet this season. Iowa has faced a pretty soft schedule to this point without coming very close to a 100-yard rusher. Is the issue at the coaching level, or, is the issue with the starters?

I agree. Iowa should win this. That being said, 27-17 UM..

Do we completely abandon the 2 Qb system? If CJ would actually pitch it on the option that could go for some big yardage
