I would have thought you could drive through the entire state of TN in 2 hours.....

North to South you can probably do in about 2 hours or so. East to west probably 8-10.

Y'all need to visit CA and see what bad traffic is all about.

I lived in San Jose for 10 years. That's nothing.

Murfreesboro is a place that has one of the highest growth rates in the country, and a road design that is no where near designed to handle it. The roads are so fucked up(design wise) it's damn near impossible to fix them. My uncle is a civil engineer for the area and works on a lot of them, he bitches about it constantly.

So not only is it packed with people, the roads can only handle about 25% of the traffic. Coming in from nashville on 24 in rush hour traffic - you are going to be in a jam, you can count on it every single time. It's been that way for 30 years and hasn't gotten any better.

Did a quick google search and it confirms it.

LA is way down on the list. OK City #2 is not a surprise, I hate driving through there. Bunch of shitty drivers there though.

I lived there for a short time in '85. Didn't try too many trips to Nashville. Too much hassle. Franklin wasn't too bad then, but went thru there about 7 years later and thought I was in Houston. Can't even imagine what it's like now.
