Mariners are now on pace to allow 530 runs this season. This would be the second fewest since the beginning of the DH era (1973). The record is currently held by the 2011 Phillies, they only allowed 529 runs that year.

If they can set that record and not make the playoffs at least it would be the biggest disappointment in baseball which the Mariners held also with 2001.

It is amazing how the pitching staff was a huge concern going into spring training and they have become this dominant.

Gonna be a shame if the M's offense can't at the very least take some advantage if this ... I mean for shit sakes all they need is 2 or 3 runs a game to win consistently.... There hanging in there but need to keep improving offensively.
