My concern is this: How much of his ability to run in college helped him in the pass? Teams worried about him running having an impact on open receivers etc. Things like that will really get reduced in the NFL, or he has a high chance of ended up injured like RG3.

Seems like the successful QB's that can scramble are all pass first QB's. The ones who rely on their legs don't seem to last. And Oregon was really a run first offense is it not?
