March 10th 1080ti

Anyone planning on getting one? They claim its faster than Titan X pascal. Also 352 bit bus, which is odd, 980ti has 384 Bit bus. 1080ti also has 11gigs onboard, which is odd as well. Ive been planning to upgrade to this from 980ti but its out earlier than I expected. My gut says these are just reworked/flawed Titan X's with a 40% markdown. Hopefully the custom versions will be out by april so incan get some benchmarks before i buy. Looking for either ROG Strix, or EVGA FTW/Classified.

Nah, but just bought an MSI 1080 card, had a free Ghost Recon promo and $30 rebate, so all in all $400 vs. $700 or so. Upgrading from a GTX 970 which handles everything fine, but want to make the jump to 1440 and not have any lag in FPS. Rest of comp is fine (6700k, MSI Z170A gaming M9, 32 GB G SKill Gaming RAM), so should be able to blaze after throwing this sucker in.

Also picked up another 512 gb Samsung EVO SSD. Am down to 80gb

Not going to 4K at the moment so the 1080 TI is a waste $300 for me.

Anyone with benchmarks that can reach GTX 780 and above are wasting their time purchasing a card unless they are wanting to overhaul and go dual cards aka Xfire or SLI.
