Sprained knee ligament. Seems kind of fragile to me. In any case, why not to the 15 day DL? He would be back before the end of August. Thoughts?

My bigger concern is a long-term one: Is Machado trending toward DH instead of SS?

nope just glad his name isn't nolan or we would hear always injured . how many games has jj missed or hurt this year . jj is always hurting from his motions on the field .

well manny was hurt in the minors dl'd twice i think then last year and this year . baseball players all get hurt

cord sucks should've called up britton . oh well !!bet britton wouldn't strike out as much as davis ! i hope davis starts hitting if not give the job to walker in 14. the knock on walker has always been the glove never hitting and reports are that has been fixed .

Still love those prospects over proven guys huh Ted.....Davis hit 53 hrs last year and even in a down year has 21. But you are ready to throw him out already....Walker is our DH of the future. Davis actually has played above average defense for us this year while Walker has 10 errors this year at 1b.

davis that was his best ever season 10 million for a .200 hitter no thank you and move on
