Why does it make zero sense? If a kid is good enough to make it to the NBA it shouldn't matter which program he plays for.

Yeah it could care less to me where a kid wants to go as long as he is happy, if he thinks he can go to the NBA then have at it.

I'm not necessarily hoping it becomes a trend but it would change the landscape of college basketball in a major way. A changing landscape creates intrigue.

1.) I didn't make a single reference to the NBA nor did I question Maker's ability to make the NBA.

2.) i was asking why non-HBCU fans want this to become a trend.

in this case the changing landscape = minimal exposure for some of the top players in CBB.
