They only have access to a small corner of the MCU catalogue, and they don’t care about the long term health of the IP.

Naw scrilla, Love and Thunder is hands down the worst MCU movie. At least it made an effort to take itself seriously and didn't make annoying jokes every five seconds. And it had some semblance of a story and plot.

L&T had a decent 3rd act. Quantumania was garbage throughout.

L&T also did well in theatres, and critics still liked it... I saw L&T with my nephew, he liked L&T... the jokes although, were sometimes cringe for the adult viewer, it was still good for the kids...

Quantumania, was bad for all viewers... even rottentomatoes audience ratings was awful... But it was a victim of Chadwick Boseman dying...

It was a shame that Marvel allowed a tragedy to kill 2 movies...

I always assumed that while he kept his condition private from the general public, he was professional enough to let Feige know. I never had any evidence of that outside of the fact that by all accounts he was was a stand up guy, and it wouldn’t have been very ”stand up” to allow Disney to invest that much in him without letting them know they needed some kind of escape plan.

but the shame is that it doesnt sound like it was just the visuals... the editing seemed to be rushed as well... which makes sense... Now i dont know whether that story had any potential to be good, as it was a terrible plot... but i would bet that if the movie was made proper, it would not have been the worst MCU movie... I mean, even the Eternals was better that AM3...

I need to watch AM3 again. I only watched it once, and my eye rolls were so loud, I couldn’t hear much of the dialogue. If I watch it again, KNOWING that it is a hot steaming pile of excrement, maybe I can salvage the tasty kernels of goodness out of it.

And I actually somewhat liked Eternals. It didn’t really belong in the MCU, or ONLY as a single movie (it should have been a full phase), but it wasn’t a complete crap movie. Below average, sure, but still “good”, imho.
