Okay with this list, makes a lot of sense. I’ve read arguments where some think M’s Paxton and Segura were snubbed and my counter is that I don’t think they’ve done enough. Segura is very borderline and I think he will get his chance. No way Paxton goes if TB’s Blake Snell doesn’t get to go.

I can see Segura and I think he'll get the final vote or even if he doesn't he'll get added to the team as an injury replacement. As for Paxton there's too many starters that have been better this year. Can't look at any of them and say they don't deserve it.

I think Segura did enough to make the AL All Star roster, but there was no way that he was going to beat out either Manny Machado or Francisco Lindor. He just doesn't have the power numbers that those 2 have. It wouldn't matter even if every thing else favors Segura, hitting 1/3 the number of dingers will always make him stay home. Maybe if he has 30 more walks, or even 10 more stolen bases that'd be a little different, but honestly he's on the outside looking in even with a .333 BA.

Happy to see Haniger get in. I voted about 60 times for Segura tonight while watching the replay of the game, so get your votes in for him. Seems like an unlimited number of votes are accepted, just have to enter a new captcha each time.

Paxton still has a chance with injury replacements or filling in if guys pitch too close to the break. I think he's the first to go in the 3 gamer in CO so that would put him on 4 or 5 days rotation.

And Segura comes in with 1 out in the 8th and 2 on took it to full count, a few solid foul balls including a dropped pop to the right side dugout that should have been an out. Then goes yard to give the AL a 5-2 lead!!!!
