Raiders Rumors: Could We See Marshawn Lynch In Silver And Black In 201

I don't know, he'll be 29 when next season start. He's getting closer to the magical age where RB's decline and we brought in Maurice Jones-Drew this past offseason and he was a huge bust. Now, I know MJD isn't exactly in Lynch's class but it's something that has to be in the back of their mind.

But, Lynch and Murray would be a nice 1-2 punch at RB.

You can't have him, we still love him in Seattle. But if it is his own choice, than I would wish him well.
Our biggest worry is his back. His body might make the decision for him next year.

I would pass on Lynch.. Keep DMAC if we want a Vet.. Along with Murray, and draft a RB.. That's what i would do..

What is with the Raiders and injured backs? They bring in MJD after a very bad leg/foot injury. They bring back DMAC after all of his injuries. Murray has been off and on injured. I just can't see them then going for another back who looks like he is breaking down. I just can't see Lynch making it through another season with how he runs. The guy is something special to watch but those ground and pound guys when they break down it is usually very quick.

I think Lynch has1 more year as a featured back, and maybe a couple as a specialist player after that - remember he can catch the ball.

They were rumored to be trading him back in October, Seattle has a lot of pending free agents they have to pay this offseason. There's this little thing called the salary cap they have to juggle.

I can't see Lynch being willing to take a specialist role though. I think he retires before he ever takes that kind of position. I would bet at most Lynch plays one more year. He has already spent the past 2 seasons debating about retiring. With how much pain he seems to be in here at the end of the season I just see him walking away after maybe one more year if not after this season.

Murray will be the starter next year.. And with a super deep RB draft coming up, there really is no need to sign the Beast Mode.. With Murray's rare size speed and power, he can be the new Beast Mode?? Imagine if we added Gordon/Gurly!! Along with Cooper.. That would be soooooo sweet.. Teams now days need 3 RBs.. DMAC, Murray, Draft Pick.. imo

For the fans that want to draft Big Cat Williams, man he would be a GREAT pick as well!! Anybody ever read his tweets?? Dude loves the Raiders and wants us to draft him!! He will go TOP 5 no matter what.. A young Richard Seymour in the making!! Big Cat and Jelly in the middle!! SMH!! Tim Brown Jr or A young Seymour!!
FA is the KEY!! Thank Goodness we don't NEED a QB though!! This is sort of bold?? The AFC West welcomes a new rookie QB?? The Donks draft Bryce Petty QB from Baylor!! With 1st pick.. He starts in 2016!!

No doubt about it, Lynch would look great in the S&B, lots of rumors he wont be in Seattle next season, if he wants another year or 2, Oakland would be a great place for him.

The Raiders are on their way back, Lynch has an in your face style that would work well here, make the numbers work and let him pound that rock in the O.co.

FlaRaider, the only thing about Lynch is, he would only come as a starter.. He would eat up Murray's carries, and Murray is one badazz dude.. I mean 6-3 230 4.38, that's unheard of.. And Murray runs like a monster.. But i would take the Beast Mode if he came.. Pound the rock with Murray!! I like how you say, the Raiders are on the WAY back.. Cuz they are baby!! Everybody can see that.. Future SB!! Raiders Vs Vikings!! Teddy B and his Vikes will be good as well.. We play them next year.. Carr Vs Teddy!! We need to keep adding young weapons though..

Not necessarily, young Jedi.

Acquiring Lynch would mean they want to prolong his career by pairing him with Murray, who clearly can play. Give Lynch 16-18 carries a game and Murray 13-15 a game and Murray would serve as a great backup/insurance policy in case Lynch gets hurt. They'd be a running team and give Carr the RW treatment, let him be a game manager for a few seasons.

I think over the years the run blocking has been horrendous. Rashard Jennings wasn't much here in Oakland. As a whole for the most part running backs haven't been given many holes to run through. Murray had some good runs some decent games but as a whole the run blocking just isn't consistent. Marcel Reece is more of receiving back I'm not so sure he's one of the better blocking fbs in league. But hoping the o-line is improved in offseason
