ZOOMIES

Strolling through the Canucks locker room at the Penguins practice facility last Friday I caught a glimpse of Alex Burrows in the corner peering through some binoculars. Except they weren’t binoculars, they were Zoomies.

Yes, we’ve all seen the incredibly awesome commercial for these hands free wonders of technology.

I asked Burrows if he bought them and he said, “No, they are Boothers”.

Of course they are.

Who else on the Canucks would have Zoomies? Booth told me someone left them in his locker. He suspected it was a joke insinuating he doesn’t see the ice well enough but I think we all know that who ever left them for Booth, it was all about his love of hunting.

$7 is a bit higher than I expected. There was a game last week you could get tickets for $4.95 per. The team deserves better, but they're in a lame duck situation.

The fisherman colors will always offend me. I hated those jerseys. We're still waiting for Milbury to be right about Luongo. He's been a good goalie, but he's no Patty Roy.

Milbury figured out he was SOOOO SOOOO wrong on Luongo pretty quick and drafted a MUCH BETTER goalie in Rick Dipietro so theres that

I'm misunderstood on Luongo. I don't hate him one bit. I have nothing against him personally. I just think he's an overrated goalie. Part of that isn't his fault. He had a lot of hype. The question remains if he has or will live up to that hype.
