Marvel's Luke Cage premieres June 22
It's a very low bar to beat the 2nd half of S1.
But the set up for s2 was abysmal.

I liked it. To me, it was about on par with season one.
Bushmaster does not really live up to the hype from the trailers, though. The actor was good, but the character just seemed to fade from relevance as the season progressed.
One thing that is REALLY jumping out at me in the first couple episodes is the really bad acting by Alfie Woodard. Not sure if they were on a schedule and couldn’t get extra takes from her or if she was just mailing it in, but she is better than this.
so it's got one good half and another half that is the worst half of any marvel netflix show?
I am just starting. The final episode now. So far, I actually quite liked this season. But yes, the ep with Rand was pretty awesome. It really builds their relationship, and kinda explains why Danny would go into business with Cage.I actually thought the first 3 episodes were very slow and boring... in sped up and was actually pretty good.... some was painful to watch though because one episode Luke cage is helping the stokes side, the other episode he is helping the jamaican side...
the episode with iron fist i thought was the best episode...

I stopped watching season 1 after Cottonmouth died, around episode 7 or 8.
I finished season 1 today before staring on season 2. After finishing the first season, I feel I was completely justified in not originally finishing out the first season. The second half of season 1 was complete garbage.
I only got 1 episode into season 2 this time around before I abandoned ship.

I haven't caught any marvel shows outside of netflix and Legion. Not sure what cloak and dagger is about, but have been thinking about giving the runaways a shot.Is Theo Rossi too expensive for Freeform? He should join Cloak & Dagger for S2.
