LSU & FSU are embarrassed of their stadiums

"I was down in Tallahassee for work the year after FSU won the title. Figured their stadium would be nice. It was a freaking dump. It was big, but a dump. LSU's stadium was nicer than what the Noles have but it's not near as nice as Autzen."

So Oregon fan believes they are the best, color me surprised.

I for one like neutral site games. I think this is a pretty neat idea. Similar to what Wisconsin/ND are doing by playing in Lambeau Field and Solider Field.

I like them when they are in the home state for the team. Not everyone lives close enough to the home stadium to see the team and going to another in state stadium is a good idea.

Washington won a split title the year before that game ... the same year the Huskies plowed the Huskers in Lincoln.

Yeah ND has played in Landover, Baltimore, Fenway Park, Philly, and Met Life over the last couple of seasons in the Northeast, off the top of my, where I currently live. 4 of those cities are less than 4 hour drive from where I'm at. I was able to get to 3 of them.

Yeah ND has played in Landover, Baltimore, Fenway Park, Philly, and Met Life over the last couple of seasons in the Northeast, off the top of my, where I currently live. 4 of those cities are less than 4 hour drive from where I'm at. I was able to get to 3 of them.

ND is the anomaly in the NCAA. Their fans are everywhere where as a majority of say Buckeye fans are in Ohio. Obviously not all but ND is a different animal.

I would agree which is why I like when ND plays in the Northeast which they seem to do every season, for the most part.

This is not a playing in Texas and Georgia. They are playing in NFL stadiums in Louisiana and Florida, the same thing Wisconsin and LSU did. I’m all for this.

Texas and Georgia would make more sense recruiting wise. I don’t have an issue with neutral site games but these seems dumb.

An Oregon Duck buddy of mine has been to both of those stadiums (LSU & FSU) and he said both of them were dumps.

I’ve been to both and that’s absolutely not true. Now the Rose Bowl is a complete dump.

It’s not the greatest game day venue but it’s far from a dump. Beats GT and South Carolina by a long shot.
