Eh. It is not about helping the Rams or hurting the Seahawks. It is about money. They didn't want to lose revenue. The other stuff is only a byproduct of that.

The Raiders and Broncos fans are pissed to.
The Raiders had to play game(s?) last season behind a decimated OL and this year they had the game last night moved to help the Browns out.

The Broncos had to start an undrafted WR at QB and still didn't get the league to move the game. He went 1-9 for 13 yds and 2 Int.
I think that Broncos' game was the catalyst for these moves. The game last year was deemed unwatchable and the league didn't want that to happen again.

So this turned out pretty well for the Rams. They got at least 10 guys back while Seattle has added more to the covid list.

League got what it wanted.
They would love to have the Rams in the SB for a reason....

Of course they would - they learned last time that LA fans need to be constantly presented a winner or they won't support a team (or teams, as the case may be).
Yep. The NFL would love to have another home team host like the Bucs last year.
