Somebody from the Twolves shoulda thumped him one.
No doubt about that. Team lacking sack, that's obvious.
Still shoulda served him a knuckle sandwich.I could be wrong but maybe they just don't give a fuck, maybe they know he's a moron who will be gone soon and they would rather not get involved in his me me me circus...

According to what I read, He still has a relationship with both of his parents - which I don't understand, I would get as far away from those two as possible and would assume they are after my money now being successful, but I am not a forgiving person by nature. Either way, I am happy for his success as a basketball player and I wish him the best. I don't agree with the assessment that he his a chemistry killer though - I think he wants to be on a winning team like everyone else and just figured out that Minnesota will not be that in his life time as a playerI was just looking for news on Jimmy Butler and a timeline of his life popped up. I just learned that his mom kicked him out of the house at 13, my normal response would be "That sucks, what a difficult thing to over come". When I read it for Butler though it was "Yeah, I get it. I could not imagine living with that dude, no amount of mothers love could overcome that."

They don't like him because he holds them accountable for their defensive failings. Then the team goes ahead and awards the two kids that only want to score and can't handle his intensity, but won't pay Butler. He wants out, his owner is willing, but his head coach wants/needs him to stay. Thibs knows he is gone if doesn't either get Butler to stay or get a ridiculous trade offer for Butler; otherwise his team free-falls from that top 4 seeding from last year.
They snuck in as the 8th seed last year, not top 4. Also it is not that they won't pay him, they offered him the absolute most that they could while he was under contract. I guarantee you that with out his fit at the end of the year they would have offered him the full max, which would be paying him 40 million in his age 34 season.
Nobody questions his work ethic, but I think he learned early on the if he just made the claim "I will do anything to win" then people forgive a lot of behavior that is far from acceptable.
He is not a prick because he is so competitive, he is a prick because he found out he can get away with it. He absolutely could be less of a bitch and maintain how competitive he is.
giving someone like Butler that 5 year 190 million dollar mega deal starting in his age 30 season does not sound like the best of ideas. He has some major "Thibs Miles" on him- and he so thoroughly relies in his athleticism.1 game out of 4th, sorry. 2 games out of 3rd.
He clearly wants to get paid, and I really doubt he would've created all this mess without knowing that max deal was not coming.
