Lions Release Reggie Bush

I'd still like to re-sign Helu, but Reggie Bush may not be such a bad alternative if we can't. Or, some may say just the opposite. And let's not forget how much RGIII would love to see someone like Bush in the backfield. Never mind that he can't block, but he'd be a pretty good checkdown option.

Don't see it happening. Don't see scot getting into a bidding war for a RB and bush will be in demand. He needs to save those actions for a S or interior lineman. He will have no choice but to wade into the FA market, but he will do it selectively. He needs to find a couple starters. RB isn't one of them. If we sign a RB, he will be second or third tier. My bet is we re-sign Helu.
