Game Thread: Lions at Steelers PS game 1

Saw three or four plays.

One was DanOs sweet TD to some little guy in black.

Went back to watching swimming.

- O-line still has a lot of work to do except RTs
- WRs looked very good
- Rudock was excellent
- Dan O blew chunks
- Defense was solid for the most part

Orlovosky sucks Rudock looked real good.......That's the gist of it.......I don't care who starts at Michigan this year, I have faith Harbaugh will pick the right guy and we will be fine.

I have a feeling the defense is going to be bailing out the offense a lot this year.

The offensive line is a disaster. I am hoping it is due to all the youth and not lack of talent.

No reason to judge the whole team this early though.

Going to sip some kool-aid and hope it gets better.

If it is any consolation, Glagow and Dahl looked better than Swanson and LT. I can this turning over at some point.

But yah, its early like you said. We will see the next 2 games if that is still the case.

Excellent is a bit steep. Did he complete a pass over 5 yards? Did he throw a pass over 5 yards? The answer to the latter is yes, and it was a bad pass behind a wide open receiver. I'll give him this, he has no problem checking down to a dump off.

Its probably seeing him after Dan O that made him look better than he was. Also keep in mind that was his first pro action. He most likely had a short leash. Hopefully he will open up a bit more. Dont need 20 yard passes every other play. Just enough to keep the chains moving. With our WRs, just need to find the open guy and not throw pic sixs.

I'm just relieved that Decker started the 1st preseason game.

I will give Staffy some credit. He made a really sick throw when Riddick missed that block. Not many QB's can stick that throw.

This may be me just having Mikel Leshoure flashbacks, but when Staff had to run on those couple plays he looked much faster too.
