Leafs VS Sabres - 7:00PM EST - Better Off Ted

So much going on with this game tonight.....So MANY storylines.

Sabres first game with Ted Nolan behind the bench, and they also get back John Scott from a 7 game suspension. Sabres also looking to win 2 straight games for the 1st time this Season.

Leafs will be playing their 1st game tonight without Kadri, who begins his 3 game suspension.

How much carry over will their be from the preseason game between these 2 teams? What plan of attack will Nolan have for the Sabres tonight? Will Kessel swing his stick wildly at the mere sight of Scott? Will Clarkson fly off the bench again?

All these questions and more will be answered tonight after 7:00PM.

It's going to be strange. A lot of Sabres fans sell their tickets to Leafs fans because they will pay top dollar and Sabres fans use the money towards paying for their season tickets. With the firings coming Wednesday a ton of Sabres fans dumped their tickets because they didn't know of the up coming change so there will be plenty of Leafs fans. It's too bad they didn't make the changes a week or so ago. Oh well, they still should be energized.

Nolan has made it known that he doesn't think it's fair to put youngsters (teenagers) out on the ice against older players.

He has scratched Nikita Zadorov, Johan Larsson and Mikhail Grigorenko for tonight's game.

It will be interesting to see what happens to some of them moving on.

By FAR, that was the best 1st period the Sabres have played so far this Season.

Hopefully they keep this up and get better from here on out.
