Even with him back, it would be a curtain call performance to the 2012 National Title Game.

I expect big strides between what he did as a freshman and what he can do this year. Let's not forget he had a good year even as a freshman. Sometimes in college football, way too much can be made of one game... and I definitely think that's the case in that game.

I can agree, but you realize it isn't just him taking the field? Notre Dame was completely manhandled with the best team they put on the field in 20 years. What would make this year any different?

If sparty beats oregon, watch out......gonna be a great game.....ducks speed vs sparty defense....sparty's offense will be pretty good this year.....hopefully the players filling in for max, denicos allen, and dennard step up...winner of that early game will gain some NC momentum.

No one ever wins in that hellhole called Autzen cept Oregon.

Oregon crushes the 2014 version of Michigan State.

The Spartans of 2013 were a senior laden class that finally broke through and were one of the most accomplished in school history. The heart and soul of that amazing 4 year run for Sparty left with the big trophy finally.

The 2014 version will be closer to a rebuild....maybe a reload...but it will have a lot of new faces.
I don't think they head back to mediocrity, but it will be a transition year.

They might be better in December, but they will be young and inexperienced versus Oregon.

At 65-1.... I wouldn't mind throwing some money down on Notre Dame, with Golson back.

My longshot pick for the Heisman - Chuckie Keeton at Utath St. With that schedule he is going to put up some crazy numbers.

I like Chuckie Keeton, broke my heart seeing his injury. Any news I wonder how his re-hab is going?

Oregon's got a great shot- got a talented quarterback coming back, should be his year. Don't know enough about the rest of the returnees, but I can imagine they're a bunch of fast guys.

I am watching out. Watching out for UCLA winning 9 games.

Zumwalt and Barr both gone is going to kill the heart of that defense.
