It's funny that they are going to Inglewood, to still be copying the Lakers.
I'm shocked they would build it there. It is close to he airport ... but a surprising area except for that.
But real estate cost is probably reasonable.
Ballmer could make a hundred F'd up disaster business decisions that would destroy most and have them begging for change on corners and still be able to live off his Microsoft stock like a king for the rest of his life.
It's like they said "How can we make LAX traffic even shittier?"
And he'd still be a better owner than Donald Sterling.

I don't understand why the Clippers are so hellbent on being in Los Angeles. They will never be any more than #4 on the list of LA sports priorities behind the Lakers, Dodgers and USC football.
I don't know if it's still the case, but there was a time when Orange County (specifically Anaheim) wanted the Clippers in the worst way to play in the Honda Center. Ballmer could save himself some money by renovating the Honda Center (it's a nice venue, so it wouldn't require a lot) and the Clippers could create their own identity and fanbase in their own city.
And to repeat myself, doesn't Ballmer have some kind of connection to Seattle? Don't they seem like a city that would like a NBA team? Isn't the reason they don't that no one wanted to build a stadium? What am I missing here?

Yeah, I think he does have some Seattle ties. Problem is, if memory serves, he promised he wouldn't move the Clippers to Seattle.
Forgot about the Rams and Chargers moving to LA. The Clips could end up #7 on the list of LA sports priorities.
They should just move to Seattle. Everyone would be happier.
