Is Lane doing it for the publicity or does he really think a 24yr old whos never played football ( was on the team in HS but not sure he actually played) can be an effective play caller ? I do know he's been following his dad around the sidelines since he was about 12 and breaking down film on other teams since he was 16.

I think it can go both ways. He could be really good at schemes and playcalling because he's been basically watching and learning for years now or he turns out like Jerry Buss son Jim Buss who was around basketball all his life and watched Jerry West and Mitch Kupchak scout players for many years and when he tried it he was a failure.
