Once again we are standing around on the offensive side and watching whomever has the ball dribble it. That time Russell had no one to pass to when he got in a jam. Our offense just slows down and then freezes and the person with the ball is on an island.

We have whittled the lead down to 16 at the half. Kobe is 1 for 9. His watch-me-shoot-and-learn motif is an abysmal failure. What can anyone learn from 1 for 9 shooting and shooting airballs? Only that he stinks and should retire. He should just retire already. Did I already state that? He's not helping this team on the playing side of things anyways.

Yea, I pretty much am done with Kobe. He is starting to consistently embarrass himself and he should just call it a career.

Number FGs made by the Lakers starters: 10
Number of FGs made by Steph Curry: 10

Nick Young expressed his discontent with getting an ass-whippin at the hands of the champions last night and he alluded to the fact that ball movement and players playing for themselves are killing the Lakers. He didn't mention names but after having a pretty crappy night himself, he seemed to take a shot at Kobe's performance of 1 for 14 as an example although it wasn't a direct reference. Kobe, of course, defended his performance (not in response to Young's comments) by stating his usual narcissistic baloney about how he could have scored 80+. That might be true but not when you are going 1 for 14. That kind of stuff just inflames the situation. Me thinks people are getting tired of Kobe and all the losing perhaps blaming him instead of looking in the mirror.

Hard to believe how this team is worst then last year. All we want as fans is to see team progress for the future. I am not seeing much with Scott at the helm.

Yea tomodach. If this continues, Scott will probably finish the season bit I suspect Jeanie may step in and make a change.

Has Jeanie & Jim agreed on the deadline for Lakers to "go deep into the playoffs" ? I think Jim said he gets 2 more years after this one ... Jeanie said "nope -- deadline is summer of 2017."

Luke Walton? I think with the young players assembled, he could do some good things in the future.

I've avoided criticizing Scott too much since we had very little talent last year. This year is a different story, we have Russell, Clarkson and Randle who all seem to have very bright futures but Scott's recent comments about Kobe "earning" his shots has really highlighted just how out of date Scott's coaching style is. The old school style of basketball no longer applies in today's game, like it or not. We should probably start thinking about going in another direction.

I agree Outlaw. I think the game has passed him by. He continues to play Bass at the five even when it is not working. Scott gets something in his head and he just won;t listen to anyone else. Bass needs to go back to being a 4 or 3 and Black should be doing the 5.
