We closed to within 6 and now its back up. We aren't playing very good D. Kobe played pretty well at the point. He passed the ball the most I have ever seen him pass the ball. We didn't play much D in the first half. Sacre is holding his own in the middle pretty well. The second team brought as back but now the lead is back up. OKC is just too good and we can't keep up.

Great defense tonight folks, way to hustle, Gasoft was amazing tonight

We are just not in the same league as the young, fast, and excellent players of OKC except for Derek Fisher who made an appearance or two. Everyone for the Lakers played tonight including Kaman and Kelly. Kaman had some nice shots and Kelly scored a basket and a nice block against second and third teamers.

Kobe finished the night with 4 points,13 assists, and 7 turnovers. So I take back the notion that I perpetrated that the ball slows down with Kobe. He passed the ball quite a bit this evening. We have a few more problems then just Kobe's assimilation. Dont'knowi and Gasbag or fighting and so, we are going to be a mid tier team for a while. I think Don'tknowi is the long-term answer.

We are not totally trash either. There is some good young talent on the Lakers and we miss Farmar. We do need to start planning for the future and begin thinking about drafting more younger players. I can't predict the future, but it doesn't look good for Kobe's 6th ring with this team. Maybe he'll be traded to a contender at the end of his contract extension he just signed or sign as a free agent like his buddy D. Fisher. Right now it doesn't look good.
