These last four trips down the floor have been disasterous. Dallas is up by six as we got shots blocked too many times. This one is over. Later.

The guy is already ruining 2 sons careers ( unless his vision was to have them play overseas their entire career ), and if he doesn't shut his trap, he is going to ruin Lonzo's career as well.

Lonzo has enough problems getting healthy and working on his shot and defense. If LaVar doesn't shut up and keep quiet, no team is going to want Lonzo once his rookie contract is up.

Everyone knew this is what he would do even though he promised Magic to stay out of things, of course the guy lied and is worse than before.

And the fact the media keeps putting a MIC and camera in his face is just ridiculous. Most of us don't want to hear his garbage, yet they keep force feeding it to us.

Lamar, just focus on ruining your other 2 sons careers and your failing shoe company with the horrible BBB rating, and leave Lonzo, the Lakers and all of us fans alone. Your son isn't "all that" to have to put up with you, and if you keep it up, at some point the Lakers will come to realize that as well.

I' m pretty sure the players, Luke, and the FO are already tired of being asked questions about you when they are trying to focus on developing these young players and winning games.

If you keep this up, I, for one, will be glad when the Lakers don't sign your other 2 sons and Lonzo ( who doesn't bother saying anything to get you to stop ), decides to walk away from the Lakers when his contract is up. Then, you and your 3 sons can stay overseas in some small European town with a mediocre BB team that decides your kids are worth signing for whatever publicity they can get out of it.

He has no effect on Lonzo's pro carreer. Only Lonzo does.

Yes he does.

Unless Lonzo becomes a star player, no team is going to want him on their team knowing what they are going to have to put up with from LaVar.

Teams won't want to deal with the circus for an average NBA player.

And until Lonzo fixes his shot and can start making 40% or more, He's not going to be a star player.

So, yes, his dad does have an affect on Lonzo's career ( especially when Lonzo refuses to say anything to his dad ).

Again, Lavar has no effect on Lonzo. Lavar is not the player. Lonzo controls it all. His play on the court. You pay too much attention to the father. I and am sure most general managers could care less about what some father or mother has to say. Lonzo's play on the court is all that matters.

I don't see anything special about Lonzo but the kid was just settling in to NBA style ball and then he gets hurt, damn!
His dad has been his dad for a long time so I hope Lonzo can put blinders on and just play basketball when he gets back.
Hopefully watching from the bench will help him because he needs to pick it up on shooting defense and passing to be The guy on the Lakers.

Lonzo's defense and passing have been very good. If you dont see the special talent he has, i dont know what your watching. He is an outstanding passing pg. He does have to improve, but man, he is just getting started. He will be fine.

The Lakers seem to have settled on a strategy re: Lavar that looks like it's working. They are simply ignoring him. Prior to this latest nonsense, it had been about a month since anyone heard anything out of him. the be

The Lakers look like they are ignoring this too.

This may be (hopefully) be the beginning of the end of this guys "fame." He's now having to say more and more outrageous crap in his attempt to remain in the spotlight and is becoming a caricature of himself. People are laughing at him now, not with him.

I'm surprised he hasn't played more this season, but it looks like they play a normal lineup for half the game with Lopez in, and then small ball lineup the other half with Randle playing center.

Since That's how the rotation is being done, there is no time for Zubac to play/develop. He was playing well at the end of the season last year. But, the Lopez trade took away his PT
