Judging from the new version, I don't think it was as much coasting as much as I honestly think they were maxed out on what the console could do.

Within those restrictions, each successive version had noticeably significantly improved gameplay, from the football perspective. As I already said the career mode left a lot to be desired.

I actually agree with your assessment. Sports games and racing games maxed out the last gen a loooong time ago. The current gen is probably 2 years behind schedule and PC gaming looks more attractive all of the time. That said, the PS4 is still one heck of a deal

I need College Football god damnit!

Unfortunately I am feeling the same way about The Show after 52 games into my regular season. I'll give it credit, the challenge lasted longer than most games, but finally after 52 games its starting to feel redundant and easier.

Wish EA would just say FU to OBannon and make the game.
