Koji Uehara has told people close to him that he wants to return to the Orioles, reports MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli. After being dealt to Texas in July, Uehara struggled in the first two rounds of the playoffs and was left off the Rangers' World Series roster. The Japanese right-hander made enough appearances to activate a $4MM vesting option for 2012, so if the O's want Uehara back, the Rangers would probably be happy to unload him.

Good, fuck him...a loser should be happy to go back to a losing team.

Doubt he has a spot on this team next year anyway. I also doubt the Rangers are going to ship him back for nothing.

No reason for TEX to hold onto him if he prefers to be back in BAL ... so TEX and BAL are bound to come to an early agreement in the post season (though in exchange probably B+ prospect versus TH and/or CD) to make that happen once the season is complete.

He's not happy? Hell, I don't think the Rangers are happy with his azz either.

well he definitely ran out of gas toward the end of the season which could be him getting extend more than he had ever been extend before. but we will have to wait until spring to see what happens

There was a reason the innings goal was where it was. TEX used up everything that was in the tank. Just ended up a couple of weeks short of being able to make it through the post season. TEX knew that when they got him for the run.

I think TEX is pretty happy with what they got from him at the end of the day.

and he had already exceed his highest number of innings when we got him. i think the Rangers thought he had at least another 15-20 innings left in him and he didn't

I'm pretty sure they thought they were getting more than they got. Maybe he was happy pitching in a no pressure bullpen roll of a last place team. Maybe Baltimore knew something we didn't.

Adams has been solid. I'll gladly welcome him back.

hopefully, the Rangers also bring back Michael Gonzalez and let Oliver walk. but i would like to see a 2nd Lefty in the bullpen so maybe we get Javier Lopez.

I like gonzo. I like his mannerisms on the mound and his stuff is pretty good too. He's been a great lefty for 1-2 batters. Oliver may retire after this year.
