Man, crazy, gutted morning and evening shows. Cumulus flexing their corporate muscles.
He was only there to soften the edge of Murph. And his karaoke takes were badly edited (you can hear the actual vocals under his vocals). But granted, they were catchy.Always loved paulymacs songs.
They will only have original programming from 6-6 from now on. Hardly a National power station anymore. They aren’t gonna be the “Giant 68” anymore?
No word (that I have heard) that they won’t be the flagship for the Giants moving forward. They aren’t gonna be the “Giant 68” anymore?
I honestly haven’t listened to KNBR or any other am radio station for that matter since the mid to late 90’s. Do they still carry the Giants and Warriors games? They will only have original programming from 6-6 from now on. Hardly a National power station anymore.
Giants, yes. Warriors, no.I honestly haven’t listened to KNBR or any other am radio station for that matter since the mid to late 90’s. Do they still carry the Giants and Warriors games?
Video killed the radio star.
Internet killed the video star.
AI is gonna kill all of it….and then some.
I doubt it. People get laid off all the time. You can’t hitch your wagon to your buddy in a professional climate. Especially when your buddy isn’t really in the same genre as you.Murph and Mac is an institution and I'm sad to see it end. My guess is Murph will quit.
The Game is largely awful. Any station that employs "Butcher Boy" and "Guru" is illegitimate.
Too bad, but there it is.
It is all about ROI. If they weren’t getting enough of a listener delta between a cheep syndicated show vs a paid local show, the paid local show’s gotta go.They have to nuke the CBS national feed in the evening... it's atrocious. I guess FP's show cost too much, but it was local and entertaining
Obviously, but the CBS national feed is unlistenable. Better if they just went off the airsIt is all about ROI. If they weren’t getting enough of a listener delta between a cheep syndicated show vs a paid local show, the paid local show’s gotta go.
Radio is dying. Sad but true.
