Hernandez brought in a 1 run game in the 8th... JJ Putz isn't overworked or anything and he's been pitching well lately. It just doesn't make sense to me. If this ends up costing us the game I will be furious.

Ok im not a Dbacks fan but I am a baseball fan so I will chime in Sting. I do not understand why Gibby would pitch Hernandez in any close games right now with you trying to make up ground against the Dodgers and against the Wild Cards.If Putz hasn't been overused then why not bring him in in that situation? Hernandez reminds me of Brandon League this year no offense. I just don't understand his thinking and trust me Don Mattingly is not any better. Good luck to you guys
