Keyword for the 2010 Huskers

In 1994 we had "Unfinished Business". This year the keyword or motto of the Nebraska football team is "Finish". Pierre Allen was just on Unsportsmanlike Conduct and said the word "finish" about 20 times. He also said that the team is wearing bracelets that say "finish" on one side and has 1 second on the other side. Allen said that it wasn't directed at Texas but was just an overall season motivational tactic as a whole.

I am so jacked for this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one thing I am unsure of with this whole revenge thing and tying everything back to the Big12 title game is...We build up so much of this season on that texa$ game and either we overlook an opponent before texa$, or we beat texa$ and fall short the next week at Okie Lite..

OR worst possible outcome is we build this thing up so big and then lose to texa$.

I am VERY confident we win...unless shit hits the fan in the early games with injuries...which seems to happen to us a lot lately.

Side note...this could easily turn into one of the biggest OOC rivalries in football...looking forward to future bowl games. FINISH!!!

I don't think they're using it as revenge. I think they're using it as a "You have to finish what you start" kind of thing or "every second counts".

I concur, the texas game is the one that stings the most, but quite a few of the games we've lost were 4th qtr. mistakes where we just hand it to them on a platter.

Yeah, this is a hindsight 20/20 thing.

Va Tech and Iowa St come to mind..along w/ the Big XII championship (which has taken the lions share of the focus).
