OU is 8-0 this year when rushing for more than 200 yards.

OU is 7-0 this year when holding opponents to fewer than 21 points.

There you have it.

Hold em to 20.

Rush for 200 yards.

Win.

We got this.

Does anyone know who the starting QB is going to be.
Is Knight healthy? I know what Bell did against OSU, but I'm not sold.

For Marks game plan to work, I think Knight has to be your guy. Bell is a sitting duck back there.

Knight is supposed to be healthy, but I don't see Stoops letting that slip before the game. No sense in telling saban exactly which quarterback and offense to prepare for. I think knight still gets the nod.

I think Bama or any SEC team is motivated to beat a Stoops team after his comments preseason. BB fodder. Our best hope is Bama isn't driven ala the Utah disaster. I think OU is a much better team than early in the season, but we're young in too many key positions. We need to at least start Knight and see how Bama is with him. If it becomes a slug fest, we lose. If we show some creativity and get them on their heels, all is possible. Hopefully its not as ugly as last years Cotton or UT's Alamo loss this year. :L

Throughout his starts Knight has struggled to get points on the board compared to Bell. His best game was K-State so other than that Bell has been the better QB. Sorry, Knight hasn't shown he can do anything but run the read option and if Bama keys on that Bell will have to make the offense go.

I think the game plan will involve playing both QBs. Bell gets the nod.

I don't know, I think it'll be Knight but if he is ineffective then they'll go with Bell. Huepel just has to remember Bell is NOT an option QB any more than Bradford or Jones was and play to his strengths.

If Alabama comes to play, we're fucked no matter who starts.
It's all about Alabama and if they want to be there.

Alabama isn't all they are made out to be this year in my opinion from what I've seen of them. The SEC is down this year no matter how you look at it. A lot of Bama's good stats came against very poor teams. And they came out flat too many times this year. OU's defense is better than any Bama has faced save for VT's scoring defense. It will all depend on whether or not OU can establish the run game to make Bama respect them.

That means squat son unless you stop the run first and keep your opponent in long and thirds....ULar

Bell has only gotten points against notre dame and Tulsa, aside from his heroic drive against osu. He was awful against tcu, Baylor, Texas, and Iowa state. I just don't see it the same way you do.

Auburn showed how susceptible bama is against the zone read, which knight runs well.

If Bama keys on the read option Knight will be out by the second quarter, he isn't strong enough to take those kind of hits. And Bell put up a lot better passing stats than Knight, just saying.

They were keying on it with Marshall and still got beat. I don't know where you're getting the idea bell is such a better passer than knight. Aside from Tulsa, notre dame, and one drive against osu, he's been awful.
