Product of his style I guess. Someone like Wade who would just relentlessly attack the rim is going to be more prone to injury than a jump shooter.

Yet both of their career FTA's per game are practically the same....8.3 for Wade, 8.4 KD.

I realize Wade has played longer and less minutes as he got older, but I'm not sure how to find out the comparison through their first 6 seasons.

I based that on having watched them all these years, albeit not a huge sample of games. Also, if you look at their shooting splits on Basketball-Reference, Wade shoots a higher percentage of his shots at the rim compared to KD. For their 1st 3 years (about to leave the office so not looking further), if my math is correct, Wade took about 42% of his shots at the rim compared to KD who was at about 25%.

This is all fine and dandy now but later on in his career if this keeps up especially with OKC making deep runs in the playoffs, this will have a negative effect on him.
