For me, it depends on how many wrs to Start and how many flexes.

In standard, if you ONLY have to start 2 WR, I might even pass on brown to keep hunt. Especially if multiple Flexes.
Yeah lineup requirements, # of teams, and draft position are relevant to making an informed decision here.

Well, yes and no. While, yes, fantasy football is bottom line, all about the points. Its not just simply player X scores more than player y..unless they play the same position, and all else is equal (no one lost their QB, or they aren't coming off some bad injury..etc..).

When comparing the value of QB's vs WR's and RB's, or TE's (or any combination of the above), you have to consider where they stand in relation to their positions, how many of the "good ones" there are available, among other things.
In this case, Bree's, at this stage of his career, is simply just another "good QB" .Good QB's do score plenty, but they don't give you any advantage over the other owners. Seeing as there are about 12 "good" QB's, plus RW, Rodgers and maybe 1 or 2 others considered elite..every team in your league is going to have a "good" one or better, meaning Bree's gives you no real advantage over your opponents, and in a few cases, an automatic disadvantage.
Whereas, with Zeke and Brown, both are considered elite producers at their respective positions, each having only 2-3 peers who can match them, on paper of course (L. Bell, DJ, Gurley, Hopkins, Beckham). Which means that they do give you an advantage over most everyone in your league, as only a couple teams (those who own Bell or Gurley, or Hopkins..etc.), will be on an even playing field.

I don't know if that made any sense, but I hope so. If not, condensed version is, there's more to it than just who scores more points.
I think we've established there is more to it. However Rocko asked what two players would we keep? IMHO you're getting into too many variables that we don't know. Again I took it at face value. Thanks for your thoughtful insight but there is no need to try and explain FF to me.

IMO it doesn't matter what the roster requirements are I'm going Zeke and AB. Shit, if you want Brees bad enough you could just draft him with his first pick. Can't say that about either Zeke or AB.

The ONLY way keeping brees makes any sense is if it is a 2 qb or super flex league.

Look at it this way even more simply. Look at ADP(average draft position). The top qb is Aaron Rodgers and he is not taken until the third round.

Antonio Brown, Kareem hunt and zeke are all first round picks.

You don’t keep a third rounder over a first. Never!! And that is if brees was the best qb.

I've got a keeper question myself.

It's a 14-team league, you can keep up the 3 players. You can only keep a player once. You lose the draft pick ahead of where you selected the guy last year (so you can't keep 1st rounders, and if you keep the guy you drafted in the 2nd round, you lose your 1st round pick and so on). If you keep a guy off the waiver wire, he's treated as a final round pick

I'm deciding between Hunt (drafted in 3rd round), Tate (drafted in 4th round), Drake (waiver wire), and Carson (drafted in 10th round).

I'm certain I'm going to keep Hunt and Drake, but my last one I'm not so sure about. Tate is probably around 3rd/4th round value so I'm not really gaining much there. Carson is all over the board.

So am I underselling Tate here? Is losing my 3rd round pick (no. 53 overall) a reasonable price for him? Or should I look to save that 3rd round pick and hope someone else falls.

I'm picking 4th in the 1st round, meaning I should have a shot at guys like Brown, Johnson, Zeke and Barkley.

if this is PPR, I'd seriously consider keeping Tate

Standard.....give me the RBs and I'd still draft one with my 1st round pick

I'm leaning Tate and crossing my fingers that Johnson is there at 4

i think that's a good call - Hunt/Drake/Tate

if possible, I'm avoiding that Penny/Carson mess in seattle right now

I'm trying to trade Carson right now. Maybe can move up a couple rounds or something. Thinking if I trade Carson and my 9th round pick (the cost of keeping him) and can get a 7th/8th rounder. Might be worth it.

Not bad value in a 14 teamer. Anybody else you can consider?

I think I throw Tate back in the pool and keep 2.

I know a lot guys are high on Drake. But Rotoworld reported that Gase wants to split carries between Gore and Drake. I don't like the Fins situation at all, so Drake is dropping in my rankings.
