This really is not about the Reds but I've spent the last 4 or 5 years listening to the "experts" ramble on and on about the wonderful things they do in Tampa with a small budget. Lately, those same experts are telling us what wonderful things they do in Kansas City with a small budget.

Tampa is currently one of the worst teams in MLB and KC is in 4th place -- and sinking.

Jury's still out on Houston, right?

Got any more wisdom that pairs up with ridicule of the Reds? (You know who you are.)

I was going to say what about Houston, but they are actually playing some good ball right now. I guess a few games with the Reds made them well again. But I don't want to take away from your point. It's hard for low budget teams to compete.
