Brock Osweiler looks really bad today. Im not rooting against him but at times he has looked decent this year other times bad. I feel like I have seen damn near every Texans game this year for some odd reason.

I am definitely not rooting against him. But I don't have the slightest amount of sympathy for him either. He walked away from a Super Bowl Champion and onto a team that got blasted 30-0 by a mediocre Chiefs team in the playoffs and then had the audacity to say, "The Texans give me the best to win." I don't care that he left and took more money. I think it's a bit short-sighted on his part, but I don't begrudge his decision. I also think we're better off without him, so am at this point glad he walked. But that whole "best chance to win" comment was pretty silly and I hope the Broncos show him just how silly with every last drop back when Osweiler's Texans are in town to face his old team.

Brock shows the signs of a few Qbs that come to mind. They are pretty serviceable with clean pocket but down right crappy with pressure. Unless he grows some balls soon, he will be a backup very soon.

I don't wish any ill-will on the guy. I hope he can get it figured out and be successful. As of right now, Elway was a smart man. When I think about who we have vs. who we would have with Osweiler I am very happy with the decision to let him move on.

We saw this quite a bit in Denver. Usually in the 1st half of games he actually looked pretty good. Then a defense would adjust at half time and next thing you know the guy can't hit the broad side of a barn. The Steelers game especially comes to mind. In the 1st half I honestly thought we were looking at the future of the Broncos and it looked good! The 2nd half though was that quick reminder of how much further this guy had to go. Didn't help that the game before that we saw him miss some easy opportunities for touchdowns against the Raiders when our defense at least in the 1st half maybe played the best half of defensive football I have ever seen.
