Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, and half of the SEC are guaranteed to be overrated in the minds of voters in the preseason. Did anyone else in the SEC claim another phony national championship lately? Auburn did? So yes, is this now going to be a yearly occurance?

Ohio State could make it, but Michigan State has to be the favorite at the moment. Oregon also deserves consideration. I like Florida St, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Don't count out LSU.

While in the recent past, absolutely could include Texas here. But after the last 3 years, not so much. Just watch, no reporter/pollster will touch Texas this year. And, for Texas' sake, that's not a bad thing right now.

Actually, he has Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Wiscy and USC in the Holiday Bowl vs. Nebraska.

This is the first year in many, many years Syracuse was projected to go to a bowl. This year cbs puts SU in the toilet bow (Military Bowl)...now that Maryland is gone.

Last year Athalon Sports projected SU to go 4 - 8. An 8 - 5 record got their attention.....they put my boy Terrel Hunt on the regional cover of June's mag.

SU is trying to get over the hump.
