Jerry Jones turned in the teams draft card with Johnny Football on it, but his son literally took the card from Jerry Jones. this is according to a new book and an Deadspin article. could you imagine ESPN , it would explode into a super nova, or Skip Bayless' head would have exploded. maybe the most covered off the field story in the history of the NFL.

why would Jerry want to draft JF?

If Dallas drafted Manziel just lol fail. That team right now.... needs an offensive line, a runningback that can stay healthy, a TE that is not getting gun shy about catching, an ILB core that doesn't get blown up and injured, and a secondary/D-Line (jesus an entire D) that is at least average.

I applaud them for taking Martin but then they gave up WAY too much with WAY too many holes for a DE prospect who is far too raw to start on a team that DESPERATELY needs starters. This was a Seattle/Green Bay FO type pick. You have enough talent needed to get you deep, so you go for something a bit raw that will go off in a few years with everyone going, "WHO!?" Dallas is not in the position to do that at the moment.

Romo and Bryant are the only things keeping that team from being a 2-14 disaster.

Umm, they drafted a TE in the 2nd round in 2013 who will be their TE of the future, they have one of the better o-lines in the league and Terrance Williams proved to be a very legit receiving target. The offense is very good.
