Well, if the injury is short term (a month or less) and the Rockets play poorly over that stretch, it could actually strengthen Harden's case. If they play above .500 or if he is out longer, then it probably takes him out of the running.

That makes sense... but the other side of this is that if they struggle during those 2 weeks, LeBron will probably have the better team record.

I looked at their schedule. As long as they have CP3, I don't think they should struggle that much.

From now til the ASB, they have about 4 or 5 games that are really tough. Otherwise, not a bad schedule at all.
