I don't see how they hang onto all 3 of them in the transfer portal era. Maybe, for the following season, but beyond that?

Yes. But people also blew this out of proportion. CJ Mosley had a similar injury (broken hip/socket) and is playing in the league. Wish Tua the very best and hope his rehab/healing goes well.
